Millions of Britons are buying holiday trips to sunny places in Eastern Europe this autumn. The gloomy summer of 2008 drove people to seek warmth and sun in Spain, Canaries, as well as Latin America and Africa and spend billions of pounds on related expenses. Surprisingly enough but only a small percentage of the travelers pay the cost of the ticket and services of an airline with cash. While the concern that a single trip put on a credit card may result in a life-time debt is not pointless, there is another important issue to consider. Due to the increasing incidents of trip cancellations and airlines' bankruptcies, lots of holidays already paid for were ruined and consumers lost their money for good.
UK major travel and payment companies, ABTA and Apacs, have teamed up to work out a booklet guide (Payments Abroad) for frequent travelers abroad, devoted to a most efficient and safe use of non-cash payment tools there. Research estimates that last year Britons accounted for approximately 309 million of UK-based card transactions, which makes up almost half of all spending overseas. No wonder, plastics were recognized as the most convenient tool for making purchases abroad, and not only that. The so popular travel-associated rewards programs available on many UK Visa and MasterCard products won travelers' hearts and steadily occupy top of their wallets.

I filed for chapter 7 bankruptcy 8 years ago. My credit score is 741 and I am still unable to get approved for some credit cards. The bankruptcy will not appear on my credit report after September 2010. Is there any way for card issuers to find out about the bankruptcy after it comes off my report?
Your bankruptcy is removed from your credit history, that means it is not significant anymore. Even if the bank knows about your bankruptcy, it can't refuse your credit card application, as it is not stated in your credit history. You have a very good score, but you will make it even better, if you continue applying for bad credit cards and will pay them off accurately. Your aim is to commit no a single delinquency in paying off credit cards, and avoid applying on impulse and for shady credit card offers, so that you will not be eager to cancel those improper credit cards, thus lowering your score.

i'm a student and i've heard there are credit cards especially fdor students...what are these? what credit score do they demand? what do they offer or what
Thank you for addressing your requests to our service. Yes, at this site we also offer credit cards developed especially for students. No/bad credit is 0-619 of FICO score, fair credit is 620-649. Visit our students credit cards page to learn more about these plastics. Make a comparison of their features and options and apply online. Choose a credit card which suits your own credit score and please do not apply for a credit card you are not eligible for to avoid denials.

i need to transfer my balance of £1500 on to another card but iv got a bad credit history. is there a card right for me?
Thank you for asking your question. Unfortunately, at our site we do not offer balance transfer credit cards for the customers with bad or no credit history. So we strongly recommend you to pay off your bills in good faith and at a proper time if it is possible in order to improve your rating. It will help you to build good credit history in future, and then you will be able to apply for a credit card with much more rewards and advantages.
